This is another option which could work well for anyone else who needs a lid as well. If someone is willing to do this they could make a dozen or so and sell them to others. Any takers on that ??.

There are two styles for those RT DT bikes so post a picture of the opening so we can see what you have. The lid for the  box with the elongated rear corners is very hard to find. The other one not as much.

Hope I haven't answered this before?

I have made a couple for '72 & '74 TS 250 Suzuki's. Turned out very good except the "dimple" that centers the air filter, but the spring lock tabs work great. Draw it off and give me the dimensions. You could drill the holes for the 4 retainer screws.

Yep that's the one with the elongated rear corners. That lid is very hard to find. When looking for a used lid be sure it has those elongated corners on the one end. The lids for the boxes with four normal corners look just like it in every way but will be too small for that box.

There's a chap I know here that has a fabrication business, I might pop in and see how much he would charge to make something similar using mine as a guide. He hasn't seen my CT1-C (he welded the exhaust after removing some loose bits) so it'll give me an excuse to go out for a ride.
