Thanks Yamahahaha,

I had to redo the center stand spring mount, so re-welding a new one in tomorrow, the engine is in this time so more careful. I bought this fiberglass welding blanket from Harbor Freight, it works well.
Oh yeah, I make my own rubber washers to, the divider compass is from High School drafting class, Dietzgen made in Japan.

I bought one new, the one bike I wish I hadn't sold. The dirt bike I like the most and put on the most miles.
I can see why vintage bikes are so popular, us baby boomers need something to do when we retire and reminisce

Funny you mentioned Vise Grips, I remember way back when I worked on VW beetles a customer came in with no steering wheel, just Vise Grips. or should I say Vice Grip. Wow I just thought of a thread title.
