Very nice manners on that bike!

Very nice Dtune80, thanks for posting, I haven't ridden mine yet but I do remember having predictable handling. The last time I rode my orig Frontera was in 1981, sold it shortly after. Im on the FB Bultaco, I see a lot of stuff on SMOG,

When I installed Trail Tech gauges on my DT250A and DT400C, I put the sensor under the compression release, not the spark plug. The sensor needed to be threaded on to whichever, and I figured the compression release was never going to come out. I had the DT400 head milled and tapped to take a second plug or the compression release - didn't loose too much head fin area in the process.

Hey Terry, I’m going to try change the location if fits, figured someone would suggest that, it is in fact a better location. The compression release resess into the head so not sure there will be enough room for the sensor.

When I put mine together, I had to be careful where the wire tab was located for just that reason. As I recall (and the brain is fuzzy tonight) I had to bend the wire tab out just a little (wire no longer stands straight up - angles out to the side a bit) in order to be able to get a wrench on the compression release. The difference seems to be that the spark plug wrenching surface is raised up from the head surface while the compression release wrenching surface comes down substantially flush to the head.

Well got it done, haven't started it yet, need to get some premium fuel. It has a lot of compression, the kick is on the left side, good thing the bike isn't higher.
