Hi Jack!!

That XR you have there brings back memories when my father/DTDave bought me one for christmas!!! They are probably considered the most bullet proof bikes Honda ever made!! Mine happens to be the top of the line bike.

Can't wait to test my XR650R out at the desert once I install a slip on exaust system!!!!!

Hey Arin, good to hear from you, sad to say I sold the DT360, my wife retired and I needed to thin the herd. The XR fits you very well, indeed.

Nice XR, I will say I had a XR650L I bought off my brother, he couldn't decide and had bought both the XR650R and the XR650L in 2007? That XR650L was a big disappointment, I had ridden many Yamaha TT @ XT 500's that were torque monsters and wheelie machines in almost any gear, the XR650L just didn't have it, I did ride the XR650R a few times and it was comparable to the Yamaha's but the seat height was too much for me, I am 5' 9" the Hondas was better suited for at least a 6' rider.

Hi scott!!

Sorry if I wasn't on here for a long time. Things got very busy ever since school got online.

But anyway, hope the DT360 went to a good home! My dad/DTDave wanted his bikes to be taken care of.

I was quite suprised that my XR650R fits me like a glove like you said!!! The original owner was tippy toed on the bike before I bought it.

Hope your doing well

Hi Mauser!

Nice bike you got there!! Probably the same condition as mine! Is yours an 02?? The bikes graphics look very similar to mine.

I know I will enjoy my bike since its pretty much the top of the line bike ever made by Honda. My father/DTDave had a 1998 suzuki DR650 which was like a rocket ship to me!! It was the reason why I bought the Honda XR650R. Great bike!!!!

Hi Lizeec!

The XR650L doesn't put out as much power and torque compared to the R model like mine. Most people classsified the L model as "Lame".

I have ridden XT500's years ago and they are indeed torque monsters!!!! However, my 650R kinda acts the same as the XT500. I took my bike up the street 2 days ago and it felt that it wanted to do wheelies in all gears!! Its a beast!!!!

I am 6'2 myself and so far, it fits me like a glove without tippy toes involved.

Yes 2002 :) I love the bike down the lanes, plodding along with 54/14 gearing....

Yes Arin, it went to a good home. The guy that bought it wanted it to ride with his son when visiting. Yeah a tall guy like fits the modern bikes well, I'm 6' but my ratio is off, long torso and short legs.

I do have a 1998 KDX220, but lowered it. How's school going?
Thanks Mark

Hi Scott!

I had a 1995 KDX 200 once!!!! Loved it! Best bikes ever made by kawassaki period! My dad had one and loved it too!!

School is a bit hectic since its all online. Rather be in person schooling than online to be honest. My professors don't see my hand raised for as simple question....
