My new toy!! The big red pig was created by XRArin

Hi all!!

I do apologize for not being on the forum for many months but just thought I would show off my new toy I got a few weeks ago!! I had to get rid of the YZ's I had because THEY ARE NOT DESERT BIKES....

I bought this bike from the original owner who claims it has less than 500 miles!!! I ended up buying the bike for $3,500 which I thought was a good price for a nice clean bike like this. I was told that these bikes are king of the Baja 1000. This particular model is a kickstart only, not an electric start (Honda never made their 650R with the electric start).

I will post more pictures as I get the bike back from being inspected to make sure everything is all tip top shape.

I hope to have our future Gorman events so I can take my 650 out with you guys!

Does anyone know how I can change my username??? I tried going to account settings and for some weird reason, it wouldn't let me change it..... Any word of help would be appreciated!!!!

Nice bike! And it fits you perfectly. I have owned four XRs in my time with the last one being an XR600. What a monster. All XRs are like tractors. They will run forever if you keep them well oiled, adjusted, and use them as intended.

Schu, Thank you!!!

Before my dad/DTDave passed, he bought me XR's before and like you said, they simply "run forever". I read a lot about these bikes and they are known as the king of Baja!!

I will give it the proper maintnence and hope to have it for a very long time! I am in the process of putting an aftermarket exaust on plus installing $2,000 worth of aftermarket parts it needs.

Hey Rick C!

Its a green sticker bike!!! So that means I can ride it anytime of the year!!! Those stinkin YZ's I had were red stickers bikes which limited me to ride ONLY a certain part of the year.....

So far, this bike is incredible!!!!!!!

I'd hurt myself on that thing. Awesome bike. XRs are great bikes, even the little ones. Had to take my grand-daughters out to play in the snow today. Had to.. Can't have it sitting around all winter and gumming up the carb...
