Picture Attachment problem (09 Jul 2022)

When was the last time anyone used one of these to patch their tire. Just got this off of eBay, was unopened, but i couldnt resist, and finally patched the ts185 innertube. its been flat for probably 40 years. Anyone know the story why these were banned from sale in the US?

Those are the BEST patches ever made!

I didn't know they were banned.  They disappeared decades ago.

Used a version of those back in the "60's with a 4 legged little clanp to secure it hard over the leak then light a wick & stand back. Perfect.

Yea ole Roy at church’s Texaco would spread contact cement and light it with his cigarette lighter then slap it on and rolled it. I can see him doing it with a cigarette in his mouth
