Mako Finally Builds a Shop was created by Makotosun

Well - after way too many years, I am building a shop.

Instead of trying to work on old bikes and do Messing With Hunter videos in an overloaded garage and home office, I am putting up a 24'x36' shop with a loft in my backyard. So far I have been documenting the progress via some time-lapse videos which can be seen on my testing YouTube Channel - Makotosun Media Group (at least that is the working name).

If you are interested, please subscribe to the channel for updates. My intent is to document the finishing out, and outfitting of the shop. Longer-term I plan on finally having a place to do some videos for the website, as well as the long-running Messing With Hunter videos in collaboration with Joe Gresh.

Of course, you knew we had a website video channel on YouTube. Right? Of Course, You did. The link is up in the header of the site or  www.youtube.com/user/VintageYamahaEnduros  . We would really appreciate you subscribing to the site channel, so we can continue to grow.
IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

You know, of course, that no matter what size you build it, it will still be too small!!

Unfortunately, due to lot restrictions, it is smaller than intended, and was too small when designed!. But it’s hugely better than what existed there before!

here what it’s like to buy a building in a box . . .

Wow you guys work fast! What brand of coffee do you drink, gonna order me some. Also agree any shop, smaller than New Hampshire, is too small. Ain't it great!
Congrats, looks great, I know you will enjoy it.

My wife said that when I am in my shop I am like a little kid, I told her to get out of my fort!

It will be a great shop, and the lesser size will keep you from making it a storage shed. My pole barn is 30 x 40 and I can hardly walk thru it. My goal is to do a HUGE purge this winter. I have a large hand painted sign that says FREE. You can't believe the amount of stuff I can clear out by stacking it at the road with the FREE sign.

My shop is 12x20 and I thought it would be plenty, I overfilled it within 6 months, I hate having to move stuff in and out to make space to work on what I want. When I try to clean and organize and make a large pile of stuff that is going to be sold on eBay or going to the dump I always end up putting 99% of the pile back inside for some reason or another in my head and nothing gets sold and nothing goes to the dump.

A dear friend once told me, you can tell a persons wealth, by the size of their storage shed... He didn't care for flashy stuff...  Many times he'd stop at a place with stuff piled up outside the (pole) shed.. he'd ask.. "can I go look through yer shed?".. You'd be surprised by the amount of "yes" he got...
I didn't know there was a channel to follow... I'll be looking at the adventures!

Nice going on the shop, would love to have one big enough for camper and motorcycles.

The problem, Mark, is this one is a nice size but no way is it big enough for all of the various projects.
