Rafter of turkeys. RickC, I just learned something new on the forum once again.

Yesterday, I had to stop behind two other cars for a rafter on my way to pick up a student for a funeral. You can't stop too long around here, though, as they will attack your car and peck holes in the thin sheet metal. Aggressive little bustuds, they are.

Once I was working in the afternoon summer sun on the front deck of the house on some minor woodworking project and just happened to be standing still when a mature bald eagle flew around the corner of the gutter maybe 20 feet from me, just off the edge of the roof, no more than 15 feet off the ground. It was quiet enough that I could hear the rush of the air lifting over his wings. He stared me in the eye for a couple of wafts of his wings, and then he continued on westward into the sun.
Just one of those all too infrequent times when you really feel like you're a cog in Mother Nature turning. Like the time two years ago I was deer hunting and out of the bushes not 15 feet from me exploded a mountain lion. Fortunately, he was running away from me. But that's a whole 'nother story.

I have seen them attack mostly valve stems on cars. Certain flat tires for sure !

Here is some video of the race T-bone, Greenie and I went to.
Old school stuff with BSA, Triumphs, Huskys and a bunch of Harleys. Modern bikes also.
those guys are KOOKS !!!!
Enjoy !

More info on it too.
