I do worry sometimes....... was created by Gr8uncleal

I bought a petrol tank from Belgium for my UK RD400C. Now the seller didn't speak English and I don't speak French, so it was a slightly tortuous process.

We got there in the end, but he missed the road name and house number off the shipping label - everything else was there.

Today I received a letter from our postal service, saying that they had a parcel for me that they couldn't deliver, due to the address being incomplete!

So when you picked up the tank, was it in good condition, or was it a bit bugad or feked up?

Despite the appalling attempt at packing, fortunately it seems ok.

I don't know if you're familar with the RD400 tank, but it has two mounting brackets protruding from the rear. Well, the seller had poked these out of the cardboard box, so that they were a bit like a tall person's feet sticking out of the bed, and then just covered them in tape for "protection"!

All that I've got to do now is find out what he's done with the tank cap key!

Kind of like someone texting you asking for your phone number so they can give you a call.

At the risk of being banned from the Internet for stereotyping and being "politically incorrect", she was a pretty blonde...  and to be fair it happened years ago when texting was new.

Pretty blonde texts you to ask if she can call you. Must be more to this story than that.

It would be a long boring story....But here's a pic of one of the Husqvarna's I found a few years ago as I was getting it cleaned up.

I should be the last one to complain about thread hijacking!

I think that Shyted is at work on an oil rig at the moment, so I'm sure that he'll appreciate the combination of a blonde with a Husqvarna!

If I can take a decent photo of the tank showing the "Marine" shade of its Marine Blue, then I'll post here. It's really weird, though, it's almost as if my camera filters out the very slight turquoise shade.
