Picture Attachment problem (09 Jul 2022)

Due to the extraordinary growth of the membership and resources, we are once again bumping up against hosting limits. I am working on a fix. In the meantime, the forum should function, but you won’t be able to attach images. Working as fast s we can to fix. Thanks for your patience. - Makotosun

Letsjet has been my license plate since 1988 in Nevada. It’s been on trans ams, mopars, mustangs, a 3000gt spyder, and corvettes. Been fortunate to have been flying corporate jets since 1982. Grew up riding my 1971 HT-1B ( sold new for $442 OTD !) and flying tail draggers in high school. My enduro plates are Curt and Curts. Currently restoring a 1968 DT1 250 along with 4 RT3’s. Thanks to everyone here who has helped me and provided encouragement, lots of beautiful bikes on the forum.

Back before Y2K my wife had an antique shop. I saw a child’s pedal car and bought it. That started my interest in collecting, restoring, flipping, trading, etc. I had 60 vehicles in my collection ranging from 1915 to the late 60s. Then we built a big house and started having kids which necessitated selling all the toys. Now that my youngest is well into college I am well into collecting and restoring these cool old two strokes. Probably should update my username but everybody knows me by Pedalcrazy or Hotrodsteve. Steve Shoppa in Iowa.

My forum name might indicate I’m in the medical field, it’s just my first two initials and my last name. Although I have doctored up a few vehicles. My grandkids say I’m a doctor because I can fix anything, at least that’s there perception. They say I have super powers, LOL.

Back when the internet and bulletin boards where new, I joined the off-road.com board as "blaster96" since I owned a 1996 Yamaha Blaster ATV. This was definitely pre Y2K and I was just a kid. Sometime after the year 2000 I purchased a basket case 1987 Yamaha Warrior ATV. Since I desperately needed help with this ATV I joined other bulletin boards with the alias “87Warrior”. I have since kept the user name for the next two decades even though that machine was sold in 2004.

Andy_C

Andy = my name
_ = because I did not want to use a space
C = Corp - my surname which is a pretty unusual surname here in the UK

Just about every motorcycle forum I post I am Andy_C or Andy C with no underscore
Yam DT 400 C, Kawasaki H2B, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Triumph 865 Speedmaster - many, many more in my lifetime.....

Clubcar - I ski a lot. Sugarloaf, where I ski, used to have a four-person gondola when i was in college. in the 70's. When you got four of your friends in the gondola and "adjusted your attitude" it was called a "Clubcar".
