If there was "the Bed" section instead of lounge then i'd use that haha. Looped my RMX250 over backwards last week down the pumpkin paddock. Well it looked so inviting!!. Not had the bike going since a flat track about 2-3 years ago so carb & everything was a mess of stale fuel. Was late afternoon & didn't tell my wife but just had on an old well used open face & man that bike is fast. So cleared it throat down the 20 acres intending to wheelie it all the way back--well i used to be able to lol--. Short story is it got away on me on the second go, but think i rode it to the ground, thinking, i can save it--not. Lucky the guy who leases the land was just leaving although nearly didn't see me lying there holding one arm up. Outcome was broken back in two places & broken pelvis & tail bone. They say broken but in place but the worry is two Hematoma's around the spine at the breaks. Oh, & plowed 'or ploughed' the paddock with my face but looked worse than it was. Bloody hurt though. Trying to 'not' take the heavy medication but have to a bit, "so if i start typing rubbish haha". Reminds me of--is it the "Rolling Stone latest tour "Not Dead Yet". Should change my ebay handle from "OldFartRacing59" to "Silly Old Fart" lol. Have a happy day people.

OH NO! So sorry to hear you're laid up Morley!

I think we've probably all done some silly things... well, they're only silly after they go wrong! Before that they're a lot of fun! :Excited

Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery!

"So there I was..."
Good story; bad outcome. Hope the best for you.
One thing good for us: you're probably laid up for a while, and you'll have time for more entries here on the site! All very enjoyable.

That’s a damn shame! Hang in there. I bet you make the best of it anyway. Be sure to stop in here for a pick me up. At least it was a good story and not a ladder deal or something domestical.

Wow, I'm feeling the pain just reading your story! We are all lucky you're still in one piece (mostly) and certainly wish you a speedy and successful recovery. At least your typing fingers weren't broken...
