Things are cleaning up nicely!
This image is hidden for guests.
I will be installing my High Compression Head on this bike once I get a 100 miles or so on it... So will not spend a lot of time cleaning/polishing up this stock head - But it is going to look good when finished.
Typically without a doubt I polish the fin edges... but again due to the attitude and look of this bike I may just leave the cylinder all black... We will see how she looks when sitting in the frame.

I´m really interested in some details.
How about the Fork, i´m not really happy with the one on my DT-1 either. I´m tall and used extension fork caps to raise the front 30mm, but that doesnt affect the forktravel, of course.
so that fork you are using is from an early dt 400 MX (monoshock model) right?
could you use the triple tree without further modifications?
do you think it would be possible to use the original outer tubes to be able to have the original front fender?
Thanks a lot
Michael

Hi Michael- being 6' 5" myself, I understand it for sure.
The front end is from a 1978 Dt400 - Forks and triple trees.
There was no modification needed... just bolted right on.
I am not sure about using the lower tubes from your DT1 with these fork tubes...

So where did you get the headlight? Is it a replaceable bulb? Details, Man - we need details!
IF it isn't one thing, it's another.

Another small part arrived today-
This image is hidden for guests.
Decided to go with a more generic control switch on the EnduroFest special to better fit the theme of this bike and not to screw up the original switch that I have.... Plus the colors could not be better!

There are a lot of crap switches out there but this is not one of them!
Very impressed with the quality for just $10.49 on Amazon.

Material: PVC, ABS, Heavy duty aluminum housing
