Picture Attachment problem (09 Jul 2022)
Due to the extraordinary growth of the membership and resources, we are once again bumping up against hosting limits. I am working on a fix. In the meantime, the forum should function, but you won’t be able to attach images. Working as fast s we can to fix. Thanks for your patience. - Makotosun

1974 DT100A Restoration was created by imagelessJAKE
I recently found a 1974 DT100A at a local garage sale outside Nashville which turned over smoothly and had spark and purchased it for a princely sum of $500 with 1974 original title and sales receipt!
I work in a Honda Dealership part time so I figured with the winter approaching and work getting slow this would be a perfect little project to tinker on.
The Good:
With a fresh 6 volt battery - some pre mix fuel and a fresh spark plug - the bike started right up! Smokey and slow but it started and ran.
The bike is mostly all there! its a complete bike that is relatively rust free
The electrics work - headlight tailight, turn signal indicator, brake lights
Speedometer works!
The Bad:
Oil pump was rusted beyond belief - and untrustworthy in my eyes.
The front forks and triple tree appear to be swapped with a later model Enduro 90 with a low fender
The seat is ripped up pretty bad
Rattle can paint job from previous owner - as well as some signs of poorly crafted repairs.
Randomly missing bolts scattered throughout
The lower throttle cable is completely trashed
The Project and whats been done!
Brand new throttle (upper and lower), brake and clutch cables were added to the bike
New Handlebar, with grips and levers were added as well
A new later model oil pump from a 100 was added (no plastic priming gear)
Carb has been completely rebuilt with fresh gaskets/jets and the body run in the sonic cleaner
Clutch disassembled with new friction plates on the way (I suspect corrosion between the steels and friction plate caused the creep)
Seat cover acquired and sent off to the upholsterer for new foam to be made
New replica front fender acquired from DC plastics
Sent the Tank, Oil Tank, Fenders, and headlight bucket and brackets sent to the painters
New forks and triple tree ordered - it might not be OEM and its strange but its going to be better then whats on there now.
New petcock as well.
First ride
Before sending it off to the painters, with the carb rebuild I took it on the road - and found that it bogged out at higher RPMS right before the powerband.
Word to the wise - check your jettings when you buy a Keyster kit - the main jet on the carb was 140 where as what came in the kit was 150.
After switching back to a stock main jet this bike RIPS - it goes about 50mph with my smaller size which feels awesome on such a smaller bike.

There is a limit to the number of pics per post but nothing should be blocking you unless your pics are an oddball format.
Once you attach, insert them one at a time instead of the "insert all".

So I've tried as recommended - trying different files - one at a time, using the attachments button at the bottom of post.
However, no matter how many variations I try and across different browsers its spits out an unique error code in red text.
Could Not Move File Into /Homepages/37/D93795775/Htdocs/Yamaha/Media/Kunena/Attachments/8297/D2e6307fbe3e655eac0861b973b4c42d.
They are from a Iphone that I've emailed myself but they are in standard jpeg format and under the file size limit.
Ever heard of anything like that?

Are you trying to upload photos directly from emails? That likely won't work. Try saving the pics to your device first...
