Yamaha YG5T 1968 Restore #1
Just acquired a Yamaha 1968 YG5T. Runs orig miles -3400, the PO started the bike once a month. My plan is to restore to a clean runner, I'll be putting on the front of my truck and camper.
My first clutch bike I rode was one one of these. My two cousins and I would share this and a step thru Honda 50 at a local field near there house.
Not aggressively but I have been looking for this bike, one popped up 3 miles from my house.

Was the red color candy(metallic) or solid.

Thanks Mark

Thought you were under house arrest, if not from the coronavirus then from lacka space. Now you need a new garage!
Glad to see you could not resist.

I came mask and gloved, the owner parked on the street, I set the cash down and took the bike. I had cash I use at truck stops to get cheap diesel so didn't have to go into the bank.
I was planning on using my Batavus StarFlite moped for my camp trip, now I selling it and my KDX200. So more now.

Thanks Mark

Mark, I am glad I don’t live next door to you. I’m in trouble enough with my wife, you would be a very bad influence! Cool bike.

Thanks.
I wish you did live close. Lived here for 10 yrs, people walk by garage all the time but only a few have stopped and talked motorcycles.
My next door neighbor is new to bikes and him and wife own Harley's, but he's really not a motor head. Also, my wife would help yours understand

Thanks Mark
