I'm putting together another box of parts to send them. Going to let them do handlebars, fender mounting parts, headlight mounting chrome, kick starter, shifter and rear brake/ hub mounting parts. The fork tubes on the 73 aren't going to need anything done to them. I'll report back on the work and prices as soon as I have them.

Bob, sorry for the slow reply but I've been working out of town and haven't had much time to play around in here. My forks turned out fine but a couple of the other guys sent some stuff other than fork tubes and the quality according to them was less than stellar as was their customer service when they were questioned on the quality. I have been doing some looking around for another vendor since it appears they don't believe in making sure the customer is satisfied. I've got a set of DT1 tubes I need to have done but have been holding off sending them to them.

Dave or Mike, Have you guys received your tubes? Any update on your satisfaction with the service?

I had them do two sets of CZ forks....they look good visually but the tubes are wavy.
Not ground evenly.

Have not installed them yet so don't know if they will promote the fork seals to leak or not ?

I was pleased how the first set I sent in turned out. If you are only restoring 1 bike, or a few I would suggest Franks forks. Or If you can afford it for every bike. I choose this option due to cost. The fork tubes do have very minor pits. That could be the difference between a trophy or not. I don't mind the minor pits in a couple spots, as most people wouldn't notice without mentioning it. This process is hard chrome. For "Regular" chrome I'm testing a highly rated company and will post the results in another thread when completed.

Just a warning.....When he returned my forks he only wrote the following

"178 Calle La Cumbre" nothing else :Ugh . This isn't even my address & he forgot name, zip, state, etc. I called him and told I had not received my fork tubes yet. He gave me the tracking number. I called my local post office and gave them the number. They said they had it and were holding it due to insufficient address info. I called him back and told him. In the future I will have to put several return address inside the package so he wont mess up the return trip.
