I shipped the gears out to one of the specialists helping me reverse engineer a prototype of these gears to install and put some test miles on. I will post the progress here as it moves forward. Thanks for responses on interest in these. I received a little more interest on these from Facebook. If anyone else is interested in these please let me know. The more I make the cheaper I would be able to sell them.

I just joined the site because I am rebuilding an AT-1 and I would love to have a set of these. About how much would a set go for?

Thank you for your interest! The more sets I make the cheaper I would be able to sell them. Once I receive the proto type I will be able to test it. Upon completion of successful testing, I will see how many folks are wanting a set and have a price for them.

The project is moving along. I have the blue prints for the gears now. moving onto the next stages. The nylon oil pump gear will be added once I finish the gears. The number I have in mind is 30 sets. The stock versus straight-cut ratio is slightly different. Stock is 19 / 74 teeth = 3.894 ratio. These will be 18 / 69 = 3.833. Not much different, but favors racers looking to add a few extra mph at top speed .

Will this set of straight cut gears require clutch basket modifications?
