KDI Dave, has really set the bar extremely high since I originally contacted him asking about this business venture of his. My view on the obsolete Yamaha parts was (secondary market) at best, but as Dave explained to me -- this is only the beginning. I knew that Rick C. had a hand in the research and development at least 2 years ago as a consultant (so kudos to Rick too). Also, KDI Reproductions service is top notch as well.

I have a DT1 cold air boot, DT1 foam and seat cover. AT1 - CT1 paper air filter and I am sincerely happy with all of it.

KDI
also saves you money ....

I had not seen it mentioned here on the site but KDI has the complete cable set on 1969-1973 AT/CT models.

Dave is working on a seat pan for the AT 2/3 CT 2/3 to reproduce. He said he needed two, because one is destroyed in the process. I had a really good condition one and sent it in.

I pay a premium for Daves parts.
That's not a winge by the way. I wait until i need quite a bit and send for the lot as the postage is okay .
It's robbing thieving HM customs who take more than their two bobs worth on top of everything from the US.
I spied those cables on ebay and will say to anyone out there over seas looking to buy stuff from Dave to do it as it's worth it!

Does the UK tax gifts sent to you? Might be worth having a purchase sent to a US member for re-shipping to you as a gift?

It's a bit strange . Sometimes it's just postage. Mostly there's tax when sent as a gift.
I got a piston from Enduronut and the tax was low on that . Usually from Texas , stuff is taxed and postaged less than say Michigan.
From there they nail your hat on good and proper Mako .
I got a massive parcel from Deet a couple of years ago, and for the weight and size plus the value of goods it was not to bad.
It doubles the price of a build. Yes that would be handy .
As far as Daves stuff goes that indeed would be great.
The best way is surface mail and wait. It's half the price......... wait .......still waiting .....bit longer.
