Order brakes shoes and received a set for rear and a set for the front. Question, are they suppose to be different in size for front and rear?

Generally they are, though I can't say for sure on your bike. Front wheel does more braking than the rear, as when you hit the hooks, weight shifts forward, so you want more brake up front.

Jim is correct about the braking...

Oddly, the shoes on the later (monoshock) DT175 are exactly the same front and rear.
