Split the cases and found a clutch hub stud head sitting in the shifting drum. Back together and running great.
Now to the big question, I need a tail light assembly and I'm not picky at this point if its aftermarket.
Has anyone found a rectangle style unit that is similar to stock? Hours on line with no luck.

Found this one. I think that Yambits or Wemoto also have these in England.

Thanks Frank C. Unfortunately I need the whole assembly. The Thai guys used to make one but now I can't even find that.

baybueller,

I don't know what your budget is, but here's one I found for $120:

I'm not using the original on my RT-3, but already sent it off to a Site member in the UK...

The tail light bracket FrankC posted should work, though it is not 100% correct because it's a reproduction that's a little different then the original. That being said you said you would not mind the minor differences. The US model tail light brackets are interchangeable for the US DT 1978 and later DT 125/175/250/400. So in theory the one FrankC posted should work fine.

Except....I'm not sure if the Taiwan DT100/125 fender holes were the same as the US models. I would ask them for the dimmensions. If you need the OEM dimensions I'd be able to get you that information to make sure what your buying fits.
