Wow yes very hard work! If a person doesn't have corn meal around you can also simply use a good quality car wax. The applicator will turn black and the metal will get nice and clean and shiny when you polish off the wax with a microfiber cloth! Plus you'll want to wax your parts anyway when done. I also recommend Simi Chrome!

Lovely jubilee ! That was a nice bike to start with.
It looks brill now though.
So many good bikes to be had in the States without paying through the nose for them.
I like it !
