Yamaha YG1 and L5T was created by tprather

New to this forum…..looking for a good mechanic to get these to vintage bikes running.  YG1 is complete and L5T has a few things missing.  In Los Angeles area.

Cheers.

Sounds like a couple of interesting projects you have. Welcome from NZ. I cut my teeth on both those models but i'm too far away to be useful. Hope someone close-by can help. Can get expensive though if you take it to a shop, but a modern shop would close the doors if they saw you coming--[you have a YG what? they'd say--never heard of it] Plenty of help on this forum though.

Welcome to the forum Tim.
Where in L.A. ?
I am in Santa Clarita. ( think Magic Mountain area )
Do you want it be a hands on build? Meaning you will be involved and getting greasy.

Goal is to get running….Either of them work.    I ordered some parts, batteries, and other parts that needed replacing.  Have no problem turning over to habe someone fix or telling me whats wrong and i do it.    Thanks for update.  I know exactly where you are.  Know the area a little

I'm easily confused...  did tprather's bikes somehow get to Canada?

I thought that's where Doug (run103) is located?
