If anyone is selling a dt100 engine or knows a great way to get an engine or part it would be very helpful

I would keep an eye for another DT100, it might be better to find another one more or les complete. Its hard to tell everything your missing. Its usually cheaper to work with a bike with everything on it then piecing together.
Thanks Mark

idk, I found a bike that was "all there"...just no spark....the more I go over it I see something else that isn't "all there". ;/ I see why you can't just get one of these. Much easier to have parts on hand. lol

There is a place down the street from where I am I will keep an eye out for all enduro stuff.

No spark on the other bike? Sounds like that would be closer than no engine on this one!

Hi, You said a 1976 DT100C engine? The serial numbers say it should be "Chappy green"...My problem is that I can find things I just need to know what I'm looking for :). I don't mind looking while I already have a list. I found the points checker I was looking for, for $7!

Going a little "left field" here, but a chap in the UK has just picked up a DT125 that, at first glance, looks like it has a RS100 engine fitted to it.

I'm not suggesting that you buy anything yet, but might be worth investigating any shared parts, engine mount locations etc.

What other engines might fit? DT125, 175??? What about any of the Chinese clones?

I'm afraid that I don't know. It was only the recent post from my fellow Brit that made me suggest the RS100 route. There was a RS125 as well, but I don't know the dimensions or alignment of that engine.

The RS100 engine was fitted in the UK DT125 bike, but that doesn't mean that it ever ran successfully! :ROFLOL :ROFLOL :ROFLOL :EEEK

If it's a 1976 100, the only other "Enduro" engine would be a 74-76 DT175 as far as mounts go.... not sure if it would fit physically in the size of the frame, pipe mounts, etc.

Our DT125 kept the electric start and mounts are different. (UK had a kick-start only DT125 option)

Other possible options would be the 74-76 125 dirt bikes and the 1990's RT100.
