Well I officially have the bug. Just picked this one up. 74 dt175. One owner, always garaged, not even 2k on it. Engine is all there, just pulled out. Needs a little love but seemed like $200 for it was too good to pass up.  Well I officially have the bug. Just picked this one up. 74 dt175. One owner, always garaged, not even 2k on it. That's a ridiculously cheap price - really makes us Brits green with envy!!

Now that you've got the bug, you'll find that you'll fill up the garage with bikes first, and then move on to putting them in the house (just like I have)!

Congrats. I have the exact same bike...less 40 or 50 of the important pieces. But it was given me, and I have slowly found things for it here and there, and most have been cheap. I put a 21" front wheel on mine while rebuilding the forks, new seat cover, new gas tank, new bars, new brakes, seals and bearings. That sort of thing. Might run in another decade or so...
But yours is an addict maker for sure!

Good model. I wonder what's lurking in there--wonder why the top was off the motor. Did they say. Hopefully just for a freshen up. Are all the parts there.

Hahaha I know. But I really wish I had someone here to tutor me. I’m learning fast but still can’t seem to get my LT3 going right. I’ve got a lot to learn.
