Craigslist LT100 ... what could go wrong? #1
Hi everyone, this forum has already been a huge help so a big thanks for everything so far! I got a quarantine itch and picked up a non-running 1972 LT100 off Craigslist. Guy before me had bought it 5 or 6 years earlier with the intent to restore and it'd been sitting since. No idea the last time it ran.
I'm not really a moto guy (more mountain bikes), but figured I'd try to bring this one back from the dead. Once I track down a leaky seal and unclog the carb we'll see if I can get it to turn over. Then it'll be time for tires, seat, and about a zillion other things!

Welcome, you have a bit of work to do there, but satisfaction guaranteed when it's finished. Be careful with that chain & sprocket because if it breaks or derails & bunches up at the front & can break off the selector drum retainer under the 3 screw cap above the sprocket. Good little bikes in their day. Should be an LT2 or LT3 "72 "73.

Welcome! from the UK.

Make sure that you change front and rear brake shoes - this is on safety grounds.
