New thank you for letting me join #1
Hello! My name is Daren and I am from northern Ontario. I am French so excuse my English. I just got a (i think! Waiting on ownerships / title) a 1984 ya aha DT200R (Or LC) that has been parked since 2001 in a shed!

I emptied the tank which looked OK, put fresh gas an 4 kicks she stated! Didn't run good and gas was coming out of the overflow. Currently have the carb soaking as I initially cleaned it, got it going but thw main jet kept blocking assuming from junk in the tank. So now it is soaking, will put fresh gaskets and all before putting it together. I have the mixture screw set to 2 1/2 out for now.

Thank you for accepting me and I hope we get to be around for a while.

Thank you,

Daren.

Welcome Daren, nice bike. Your bike was never imported to the States, It’s to bad for us but good for you.
I’m sure some snuck across the St. Lawrence but I never saw any. I guess they made them into the 2000’s. :OnFire

Thanks Mark
