Yes the 17w was available here in south africa from 1981 to 89

After which Portugal had the tooling and continued but with the 3UN prefix on the frame. Same bikes. Just colors and graphics changed over the yrs, with exception of front disc brake and discontinued in 2001.
The older (before 1989 models) are becoming quite valuable
