Finishing up some details on my 101 mile, 1974 DT250A. The previous owner removed the oil-pump at some point. I have installed a pump from a 1973 DT3. Pump is working fine, and I believe that output rate is not going to be a problem (but feel free to let mw know if you think I should be concerned). Anyway, the inlet and outlet "nipples" on the pump are oriented differently between the '73 and '74 models. Does anyone know if there is a safe way to turn the nipples to position them as they should be to mirror a '74 pump? Thanks!
