I'm building a DT 400 from the ground up. I bought an extra motor for my 1976 DT 400 just in case so i'm going to put that motor in a 1977 frame and swingarm I bought on eBay. I've got several spare parts I have collected over the last 30 years so I have most of the basic parts.  I found this website that has all sorts of custom bikes that might help you out.

Thanks for the link, i'm going to enjoy that. RD350 Springer looks interesting. Man there's some clever engineering going on on that site by the looks.

For my DT 400 project I'm going to go with the fat tire Scrambler look. I've picked up a set of Yamaha TW 200 forks and a DT 360 front hub that I will lace an 18 inch rim to. Here's another site with a lot of cool builds:    www.dotheton.com/index.php?forums/
