So I’m tearing down my 1975 dt250 for paint and came upon a keyhole on the frame by the Speedo...what does it do? I looked at the wiring schematic and didn’t see it on there, and I have the regular ignition between speedo and rpm gauges...so this one stumped me.

That sir is a steering lock. If it is locked and engaged, the bike will only move in circles.
