So far...

Had to use a hex head to replace a boogered up bolt in this picture. ( may have to trim it to except the stator plate.

Just wanted to wait to sink those darn seals after the 1184 Threebond drys a little, and slam the rest of the parts in for a "test ride " this weekend. But , of course... after a break in.

Crank bearing?

If so, that's why I like to put the crank in the right case with gear bolted on and then pull the cases together from the ignition side.

If it is the crank, a whack with a good size dead blow hammer on the ignition side crank end usually fixes it...

And it might just be "dumb luck" but I've never had to do that it pulling the cases together from the left.

Wish it was that easy Mark. We have a wobble that I don't like. And since all the internals are new, we will concider it " Bad"
Going to change it out.
No Biggie, just dis-heartening.
It's the shift drum roller bearing. PN # 93315-21813-00

Interesting... not sure what the "wobble" is... that's not a terribly critical bearing.

New bearing installed, cases glued, Started to put most of the back on and the shift stuff...lost a circlip.
Same black hole loss that most of you all have in your garage. Yeah, me too !
NOT the first time a clippy went, " Ga Zinga Fring " on me. And got lost.

Time to don "the mask" and hit up the local Metric shop !
If they don't have the clippy...Ebay here I come.

:Ugh

I know whatcha mean. Sometimes the only answer is a DEET call... I’ve had help from two semi feral cats awaiting release or adoption before. They like shiny little things, or rusty little things. My things......

Trying to talk him into doing that now. ( 9 PM )
