Thought i answered but can't have pushed submit. Is it a complete light with shell etc or just the lens. Do they have a sealed beam unit a replaceable bulb like out models down here. Replaceable bulb is best in any situation i think. After all that--i can't help sorry, just ebay i suppose.

It should have the wire clips that retain the bulb into the chrome ring. A garden variety 5 3/4" round replaceable H4 bulb headlight will fit pretty good... Hella, etc. Some have used a Harley Davidson version. You can then get an H4 6 volt bulb and you're in business.

I've used this one... tight fit but works: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VU7CFA/ref...00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Bulbs like these: www.amazon.com/OCTANE-LIGHTING-Halogen-H...&keywords=h4+6v+bulb

Or you can wade through literally thousands of 5 3/4 "H4 headlight conversions" on ebay.

I think I might have a DT175 rim with the Hella reflector installed... If I can find it I'll take a picture.

Rich,

Here are some pics of the Hella H4 reflector installed in the DT175 housing... the OD of the Hella where it goes through the rim protrudes more and is a slightly larger OD than the original more "rounded" lens. I've installed the Hella with no mods to the original rim... a couple of minutes with a sandpaper drum on a dremel to slightly enlarge the DT175 rim opening makes the install easier.

Other H4 reflectors might have more of the stock shape/size than the Hella... I got the Hella's at a good price on sale so that's what I've used.

Other tips are the standard number for the original 6 volt sealed beam is 4020... NAPA auto parts has had them in the past. Have to check with your local store. The Jeeps used a similar #4030 which might work too... 4030 has a 45 watt high beam. Stock is 35 watt so a 45 might be dim?

Maybe an off road shop that caters to Jeeps would have the H4 conversion reflectors? Common upgrade.
