34mm carb was created by morty911

I purchased a 34mm VM34-275 from Dennis Kirk for my 78 DT400 ,I know I will have to rejet it. My question is there is no port for oil injection can and where do I puy a port in for the oil injection.
Thanks for any help

Yambits (UK based) do this part for the RD models, although I'm not familiar enough with your carb to say whether or not it would do the job. I think that Sumo Rubber also stock something similar.

I think that both companies might be out of stock at the moment, though.

I did the same conversion to a Mikuni VM28 for a 1976 DT250C, I have a thread on here detailing the conversion. This is the part I used, I preferred the threaded vs. press fit version. On the carburetor I bought it had a cast in boss on the right hand side that appears was cast in the carburetor housing for this exact conversion.

What you are referring to is on the actual carburetor body? I used the little dimple inside the square on the spigot itself, if you look at your original carburetor where the oil line port is it just feeds the oil into the spigot, almost exactly where the dimple inside the square is.

No recommending my fix but, "my fix" many years ago was just hooked the pump to a breather fitting high up on one side of the carb i was using. Think it had a breather both sides plus one from the bowl--overflow breather-- Pumped into the breather & dropped into the bowl so mixed as you went. Worked for me.
