Just finished painting the frame. Almost ready to start assembly. Ill make sure to post progress reports. A question that has come up is the front tire size. The tire I just took off was 3.25-19. Impossible to find. I find some debate whether a 90/90 or 100/90 is a closer approx. to 3.25-19. It seems more favor a 100/90, or can I get away with a 3.50x19? Thanks

If you haven't finished the wheels I suggest putting a 21" on the front. I like the Pirelli MT43 tires.

Heidenau makes a 3.25 x 19 in their K67 tire... very close to original tread pattern and a great tire. Not cheap though.

Here's photo of the Heidenau 3.25x19 & 4.00x18 that MarkT mentioned next to well worn original Dunlop Trials Universal.
Thanks

I have a full season on the Heidenau tires and like them very much. Here in Germany the set is 120€ wich is actually about 135$. I think this is the only part where I saved some money in comparision to US habitants. :haha

Searching a Kawasaki H2 Triple (1972-1975). Title is necessary for export to Germany!

I just went through the tire hunt for equivalent-sized modern tires for mine, I purchased 120/90-18 (65R) for the rear, 100/90-19 (57S) for the front

I think the rear is a great size, the front could be a little bit bigger but I think it looks fine as-is
