Stainless steel screws? #1
I'm trying to find a stainless steel allen head screw kit for my RT2 engine side cases and not having much luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you can't get a kit perhaps true value or do-it-centers might have stainless, or if you want to wait Bolt Depot on line. The yamaha schematics can tell you how many of each and what length and size. The part numbers are supposed to contain bolt dia and width in the numbers. I forgot how to read them, however.

Scootern29 recommends these guys... good enough for me! (If they don't have the kit, they will probably make it up for you)

Personally, I just measure the bolts and get the stainless allens from a local hardware store... McFadden-Dale... probably the cheapest option.

Thanks for all the help and info! I'm going to do like most of you, make a list of all the lengths I need and head to the hardware store. I do have a True Value store not far from where I live that has a surprisingly awesome inventory of metric stainless steel.

I hate to say it, but this is wrong.
The sizes you show are generally 5mm too long.
You show a 62mm size which doesn't exist.
The actual sizes can be found by simply looking at the Yamaha part number.

By the way, I like www.BoltDepot.com for stainless. They will send you one or a thousand.
They are usually the cheapest option.... for me.
