Found one here. www.slimduck.com/lt2-wiring.html

Hope it works as looks not too bad from where i'm sitting. Is there a problem we can help with. Can't help myself sometimes, but plenty of knowledgeable people on here with answers.

The 71-73 100-175cc combined Factory Service manual in the Tech Library is the only place I've ever seen a copy of the LT2/LT3 wiring diagram...

(It's there... you just have to hunt for it... Yamaha played "hide and seek" with a lot of the information and specifications in the Service Manuals. :Ugh )

Thanks folks for the diagram, apparently I had an Lt2 diagram, and just knowing it, makes the process a lot easier, you are not doubting it every step.
I am working on the indicator/horn/light switch.
First I didn’t realize, the diagram is separating in to two switches, indicator (3 wires) and light/power (4 wires)

Second I had the color version, so had to get over the fact that some colors don’t march the wording, ie green wire but shows yellow.

Third, in the diagram the black wire going into the switch is throwing me off, I am kinda sure it is just ground and there is no actual black wire going to the switch itself. But normally in such situations the diagram wouldn’t be drawn like that.
Anyway, I am going with the assumption till things go wrong. Will test it tomorrow. Again thanks for the great and quick help.

Was looking for used headlight and its chrome trim (bezel), it seems these are not as available as later DTs, would any other model’s or year’s fit on the LT headlight bucket? Shouldn’t the headlight be universal anyway? a DT175c headlight wouldn’t fit

For seat foam/cover, any recommendations or just ebay it?
Again thanks

Yes, the black wire to the handlebar combo light/horn switch is misleading... It was drawn that way because the switch housing must be grounded for the horn to work.

(Horn has brown + wire to one side and pink to horn button on other side... Pressing the horn button connects the pink to the switch housing which has to be grounded to the bars which has to be grounded to the triple clamps which have to be grounded to the frame.)
