I am doing a 125 to 175 conversion on my AT3. My new genuine Yamaha rings included two expanders. They are physically different and one has a yellow paint mark. The 125 piston I took out doesn't have these pieces.
No mention in the manual about this. Can anyone help?
Just saw an earlier forum question on these expanders and apparently only one is used on the bottom ring. Does this hold true for the 175? If so, which one? Yellow marked or unmarked? Thanks for any help.

.

The CT2 & CT3's models use expander rings underneath both top and bottom rings.

The yellow marked one goes in the top groove.
You'll also notice that it's a bit narrower then the bottom expander.
