I ignored the drilling holes in the headlight shell part of the instructions, it's round and not flat; not ideal for mounting a flat object on...plus I couldn't face drilling the bike. What I did was make a small bracket to attach the regulator to the horn fixing bolts.....will alter it slightly but it was getting late and wife might get upset if I spend to long with my other lady. Bolts are slightly too long and needs some further work, but it's nice and solid and as I don't intend to get her wet the location is good. Have made a double to single adapter to plug into the stock wiring "blue" wire
Thanks all for the help, it's blown the headlight bulb and the high beam indicator but I have 1 of each left. I will try her tomorrow and double check with the tester before using my spare bulbs.

Now you know why I bought a pack of 10 bulbs, just in case..................!!

I intend to mount mine on one of the bottom yoke mounting/clamp bolts.

I shall end up with some spare, but to suggest this number will be 9 is to overestimate my competence!!

I like your mounting idea. I've been looking for a more inconspicuous location for the regulator on my RT2. :likey

Might be nice work but without you lot I would be going through bulbs like crazy lol....team effort and hopefully others like me will find the information useful and bulb sales will decline.
