Does anyone know of a set of cleated foot pegs for a DT1 for off road riding? I got a set and they seem nice, but the springs don’t work that came with them. And the original rubber ones seem like your foot would slip off easily. And just bolting them on doesn’t seem right, but maybe I’m wrong!

69Dt1250,

I am using stock PW-50 footpegs. They are larger than stock have good teeth, and springs. Best of all, they're only about $20! I'll put up pictures later tonight.

69DT-1250,

As promised, here is the E-bay listing for the footpegs I used on my RT-3:

As also promised, here's a picture of them on my RT-3:

Hammer,
Thank you. Did those fit right on there with springs that came with them? Or did you have to modify them at all?

So I figured it out after thinking and thinking for a week. I used these type of pegs as you mentioned hammer. But I used a set of stainless moose racing springs. On the hooked end I cut about 3/4 of the hook off, so there’s just a very slight curve at the end. Works great! Springs back.
