I've got an engine to clean tomorrow in same stage. Does Super Clean leave any film after drying?

pabdt-  I have only used the Super Clean when I can rinse it really good with water so not sure about just spraying it on then trying to wipe if off...

For me WD-40 around controlled cleaning such as an engine etc... seems like the better way to go.

I also use a wood Skewers to get into all the nooks and crannies to loosen up the packed in gunk with the WD-40 then wipe wipe with Paper towels to get the mass off...

My goal for this bike is to not make it OVER Restored... everything is in pretty good / original shape and that is the way I want to present the finished bike.

All the Gloss Black parts are now Cleaned- Scotch Brite prepped and final wipe done with Isopropyl Alcohol.

Will be time to lay down the new paint... excited to see how this Eastwood Paint works.

Also- got the new Parts Washer all set up and ready to go!

I mounted it on a furniture dolly- makes it easy to just roll it around where needed.

Process is looking great!... the cleaner on wheels is awesome.

Sorry, my question was not clear. I have a problem w/Simple Green that after washing, rinsing, drying, a dry film frequently occurs on the part. I have a solution for that, Just searching around for new stuff to try and was wondering what Super Clean did after drying, but I guess I can just try it huh.

Super Clean will discolor and corrode aluminum if you leave it on too long, but so will Simple Green.  So don't drop a carb in straight Super Clean and let it soak overnight or anything.

The Castrol stuff works great and is basically a weaker liquid form of Easy Off oven and stove cleaner
