We have a lot of our users who have extensive knowlege about the old bikes, or are really talented writers. Sometimes both! If you are interested in contributing to the site with articles, pictures, or uploaded documents, this page will help you with doing just that!

Registered users are allowed to submit articles directly on the site once we have upgraded them to "Author" status. Regular registered members can always post on the forums, however, if you think you are ready to step up to working more on feature length articles, Authorship may be for you! We require you to register to upload as we may need to contact you about your upload, and we need to know who to contact if we are notified of some sort of legal issue (copywrite infringement, etc.) You are responsible for what you write.

To submit an article after being upgraded to Author, go to the User Menu at the top and click on Submit an Article! The editor is pretty basic, and some of our members find writing the article in your own word processor (Word, Wordperfect, etc.) is a lot easier. If you prefer to do that, just copy the article then past it into the editing window. You MUST give us a working title. On the image tab you can specify an intro image which will display on your article. Please make sure this is an image you have permission to use or have taken yourself. You must click SUBMIT in order for the article to be saved in the system. You can always submit electronic format articles to us for possible publication via a Word, Wordperfect or OpenDocument format without being an Author. Some of our folks much prefer that method, and you will still be credited with the work.

Your article will not automatically be published if submitted through the site. We lmoderate user submitted works for appropriateness, language and proper categorization.

We are always in search of PDF manuals and other technical documents regarding these bikes. We don't have all of the bike manuals, so if you have something we don't already have, or have a version you believe is nicer (better scan, etc) please submit it for sharing. If your file is too large to submit directly via e-mail (some services limit file size attachments) and we will work with you to get it posted up.

Again, user submissions are moderated mainly for quality, duplication and copyright. Do NOT upload things like Clymer manuals which are in current publication and sale. We are looking mainly for out-of-print Factory manuals, wiring diagrams or articles. If you want, we can add "donated by _______" to your description, just ask!

We are working on implementing user photo galleries and will update you via the newsletter when that is available!
